|
Amy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She began practicing in the state of Florida and has worked in the field of behavior analysis for ten years. In Florida, she was co-founder of a behavior analysis consulting agency that specialized in transitioning individuals from institutions to living independently in the community while also providing services for children and adults with developmental disabilities, with an emphasis in autism, through Med Waiver and other programs. Upon returning to Indiana, she served as a behavior analyst at the Fort Wayne State Developmental Center. Upon its closure, she joined the statewide outreach team as a consulting behavior analyst. She is also one of the founders of the Hoosier Association for Behavior Analysis. Amy now serves as an Instructor and Supervisor for the Autism & ABA practica at Ball State University. Amy's special interests are in serving individuals with severe/profound mental retardation and individuals with autism. She is passionate about educating and equipping the community to better serve individuals with developmental disabilities and is very excited to be serving as the Interim Clinical Director at the Children's Autism Center. |
