What are your hours of operation?

8:00 am to 7:00 pm.


What ages do you serve?

Ages 2 through 15. We also service older children on a case-by-case basis.

What populations do you serve?

We primarily treat children with autism/PDD and other developmental disorders.

 
Are you a year-round facility?

Yes, but we are closed for week between Christmas and
New Year's Day.

 

What is the intake process? 

Is there a registration fee? 

 

Does medical insurance cover ABA therapy?

Yes, under the guidelines of the Indiana Autism Insurance Mandate, almost all insurance companies must provide coverage for applied behavior analysis services. (more)
 
What are some other sources of funding?

School district, private fundraising, and tuition assistance fund.
 
How do you accommodate my child if he/she an alternate placement such as home-school, public or private school?

We invite school personnel to the center for team meetings, as well as arranging for our BCBA to attend IEP meetings, school meetings, and observations in the public school setting.  We can also  provide services after school.
 
Do you offer home-based services? 

No. However, if we feel we cannot meet your child’s need in our setting, we do consider providing services in your home.
 
How do you address social skills in your setting?  

We have a peer program, in which we have peers come in for structured play.  We also arrange 'field trips' for children to meet typical peers  in the community in a therapist supported outing.
 

Do you offer additional support services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, etc.?

How do you evaluate progress?

Most children's programs are evaluated for progress on a monthly basis. The BCBA observes the child, the treatment team meets to review data and document progress as well as discuss concerns.

 

Progress is measured by reassessing the child using the Verbal Behavior - Milestone Assessment & Placement Program (VB-MAPP).
